Application process
Applications to Dixons must be made online via our job application portal.
For a variety of reasons, not least safeguarding, we do not accept CVs or cover letters; the portal also provides data protection. We will not ask for personal information relating to an application to be sent via e-mail, or in a Word document.
Find the right opportunity for you on our vacancies page.
Completing your application
All our advertised jobs have specific criteria and requirements relevant to the position, which are detailed in the job description, person specification and any other documents available in the job profile. We recommend downloading and saving these documents for use later as they will become unavailable when the application window closes.
In your supporting statement, please give details of the relevant knowledge, skills, and experience with reference to the job description and person specification including evidence of impact. This helps us to understand more about you and your experience.
Submitting your application
Once you submit an application, you’ll receive an email confirmation. If you have not received email confirmation, your application may not have been submitted. Remember to check your junk / spam folder or by signing into your account to check the status of the application. If you have any concerns, contact us using the details listed in the advert.
Please note – due to the number of applications received, we are unable to provide feedback on unsuccessful applications before an interview has taken place. If you are applying for the same position within the last 3 months, (check the job reference number), then you do not need to apply again.
Your data is stored securely in line with our Recruitment Privacy Notice.
Shortlisting
We endeavour to shortlist for interview within three working days of a job closing.
